It seems iPhone is having a serious competitor in terms design and functionalities. Blackberry unveiled Bold, a Smartphone which reportedly have quicker Web browsing functionalities and more room for songs and videos.

Bold has 1 gigabyte of memory, more than in any previous Blackberry. Users can expand it to 8 gigabytes with a memory card. In Multimedia it has Blackberry Media sync to facilitate transfer of desktop iTunes music files to Smartphone. With built-in GPS capabilities, and BlackBerry® Maps, will give turn-by-turn directions, so you can pinpoint where you are right now and where you need to be. Multitask and prioritize with access to your voice and data services at the same time.

The Blackberry dominated U.S. market for e-mail phones in the fourth quarter with 41 percent of the market share. The iPhone had 28 percent and Palm Inc., maker of the Treo, had 9 percent.
